Loyalty card
The loyalty card serves customers for collecting points and, depending on the reward model, they receive appropriate discounts during purchase, or rewards in the form of special products or services. This is the most common form of a loyalty program as an advanced form of a coupon collection program.
Gift card
The gift card (also known as an electronic wallet) allows the customer to use the earned points for partially or fully covering the cost of the purchase. In this case, the customer did not collect points but received a pre-loaded card with a certain amount from the retailer. Gift cards are usually one-time use, but there may be the option to reload them once the amount is spent.
Discount card
Discount cards – owners of these cards do not collect points, but simply by having the card they are guaranteed a discount during purchase. These cards are often classified into additional levels depending on the amount of the guaranteed discount, such as: SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM, etc.
